Great, professional service!! My furnace stopped working overnight. I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment the same day. I appreciate the customer service and attention to detail provided by those I spoke with over the phone and the technician that came to my house. Martin was prompt, courteous, and went above a beyond fixing my furnace. He noticed something irregular about my hot water heater and spent a few extra minutes taking care of it. 1/2/12: "Great, fast service..."

Great, fast service! Our pump in our basement stopped working over New Year's and Applewood was able to send someone right away to replace the pump. The plumber, Rocco, was courteous and knowledgeable and did a great job getting rid of the old pump and installing the new one. He was very professional and kept everything clean. 12/28/11: "I should have called them right away..."

Furnace died on Christmas Eve. I should have called them right away. I didn't realize Applewood would have come out with no extra holiday or overtime charges. I waited until after Christmas to call. Now I know. What a great company. The technician was about as considerate as could be. In and out in about an hour for a total diagnosis and fix of a burnt out ignitor. My wife works nights and was sleeping and he took great care to be really quiet. Also, was meticulous about wearing shoe covers when going back and forth through our house from the mechanical room. On Christmas day our water heater went out. We called Applewood at 6:00 a.m. on 12/26 and within two hours a friendly, knowledgeable technician arrived and worked efficiently to replace the water heater. The call ahead from Applewood letting us know the technician was in route and the email with the technician's picture, credentials and background were very helpful. As soon as the technician left Applewood called to make sure we were satisfied. Great service and quality. Our technician Jaime was very knowledgeable and professional. Quick Service - Always Available. Ok, So, of course the Big Snow of the year and the Furnace decides that it has had enough. Called up Applewood, and they were able to get me an appointment first thing in the Morning (They offered me a service appointment earlier, but wanted to use the Gas fire Place instead). So, 7:00am, get a call letting me know that my service person would be at the house at 8:00. 8:00am rolls around and gets it fixed in no time flat. he even goes ahead and checks the motor, Filter, and Fire Sensor. I was impressed by the overall performance of Applewood - from the polite and helpful administrator in arranging my appointment to the total professionalism of Lance the plumber who effectively resolved our leaking faucet. Lance was very respectful of our home, a key point being that every time he slipped out to his truck he would always place protective shoes over his work boots in order not to bring wet snow into our house. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimated repair time which he completed on time. Before leaving Lance gave us sound advice on ways to improve our water usage. I called with an electrical problem and got an appointment the same day. As a mom with 2 young kids, I am careful about who I let into my home. Applewood emailed me a picture of the technician before he came. Brian arrived on time. He seemed friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and the cost to me and fixed it. Great experience. We had no heat on one of the coldest days of winter. Our relief valve was leaking. We called Applewood and they had someone at our house within 10 hours of our phone call. The technician fixed our problem that day and he waived the service charge because we had had Applewood at our house earlier in the week for an unrelated matter. So helpful! As a new homeowner I knew very little about furnaces. The repairman walked me through everything explained what was wrong and when it would need to be fixed and let me decided what I was comfortable with having fixed now. He was very courteous and Applewood was in touch before and after the service call to follow up. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and helpful. 12/9/11: "excellent piece-of-mind..."

1st time customer of Applewood on 12/7/2011, which was a very cold day in Boulder, CO! Our 20-year old furnace stopped working the night before, and I was unable to diagnose the issue on my own. Pros: a) The repair technician was knowledgeable, friendly, and fixed the issue quickly. b) He provided a thorough overview of our HVAC system and potential problems which we will need to look out for. c) He advised that I consider purchasing a new HVAC system at some point in the future. But moreover, he clearly showed me why. As a result, I know this was the correct recommendation, which is excellent piece-of-mind. I did need to work with customer service to clarify my bill, but the customer service was excellent, kind, responsive and resolved my issue. Bottom line - the pricing was fair, the problem was resolved timely, and the customer service was excellent. I would recommend Applewood for furnace-repair. -James Y., Boulder

12/6/11: "Fixed my furnace..."

Fixed my furnace! My furnace quit working very early on a Sunday morning when the temperature was predicted to not get above 10F. Applewood was the only place that answered the phone and they promised to have someone to my house within 4 hours. He arrived on time and found that the issue was a plugged hose to the pressure valve - something simple to solve but in no way obvious to someone without expertise. He fixed it, showed me how to find and repair the problem if it happened again, and did a check of the rest of the furnace. In that check, we found that the ignitor was on its last legs. Since I hesitated on paying for a new ignitor, he was willing to leave and charge me only for the service call. I decided to have replace the ignitor with a better one for $400 and now I am comfortable I will not have additional furnace problems for years. Thanks! -Mark R., Arvada

This was my first experience with Applewood and I was pleased with the level of customer service they demonstrated. First of all, they're available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. My furnace decided to go out on a Sunday in the middle of winter, when the high was 12 degrees. I gave Applewood a call and they easily scheduled a tech to come out that same day. I had also been having some pluming issues, and thought I would ask if they had any plumbers available and sure enough they had someone that same day. Fixed our boiler. We had a carbon monoxide leak that was coming from our boiler. Due to the urgency of the situation, we needed someone to fix our boiler immediately. It was winter time so it was cold outside and we needed heat. We called several plumbers and Applewood was able to come almost immediately. Applewood has been very consistent for me and I will continue to use them. I have used them for my home and rental properties numerous times. Each time, they are great with schedule coordination. We had never used Applewood before -- hadn't ever needed to hire an electrician before. Though the job we needed done was relatively minor, it was something that, if left without repair, would have created a major problem. Within two hours of calling, Steve was pulling up in front of the house. He was extremely pleasant, competent and informative answering every one of our questions. We had anticipated a much higher cost -- common knowledge told us that electricians require very high charges -- but, between his quote and the online coupon we found, we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the charge was. We had an inspection on our plumbing and heating systems in our home today. As usual, we received a call when our representatives would be arriving and an e-mail giving us a picture and specific information for each of the technicians that would be arriving. The inspections were thorough, and specific recommendations along with needed quotations were given after the inspections were complete. They did not try to create any needs that were not there and they talked specifics as to the seriousness of any suggestions that they made. Great one day service. Lost electrical in bathroom outlets and fuse box. Electrician was respectful and professional. He listened to my problem and what I had discovered and diagnosed the problem. Repaired and double checked that everything was working properly. This was not a home repair that my husband could fix. Price was high but they have standard pricing per job instead of by the hour. I was so impressed with Applewood. They emailed me a profile of the technician coming to my house so I was prepared. Nathan was courteous and took his time investigating the boiler. He made some suggestions that we could do ourselves. He also checked out the sump pump and replaced a valve. That service was expensive. 11/17/11: "Should have called Applewood four years ago..."

Applewood came out to look at our 4 year old furnace - installed by another company who couldn't get out to see us today. The tech from Applewood took about ten minutes to determine the problem. He thought the warranty might still be in effect, so Applewood didn't do the repair, but advised us to make sure the part got replaced and not just blown out, as is sometimes the case. Great experience. Had a heating problem and wanted maintenance on my hot water heater. Excellent customer service. Had appointments the next day. Called before arriving which was very nice, no waiting around for hours. Cleaned and flushed hot water heater for $49. Plumber was very professional and knowledgeable, answering all my questions and providing advice. The heating tech was also just as good. Fixed my problem within 10 minutes. Heating tech recommended replacing some parts, but was not pushy at all and explained his reasons for pointing them out to me. He did not get upset when I declined them. I was especially pleased with the long experience as an independent contractor that Mike C. brought to the job of offering a bid to replace my ancient water heater. His thorough presentation and review of all the options helped tilt my choice to proceed with the work immediately. In this highly competitive field, prices and services are essentially the same and come in at approximately the same pricey level so it comes down to whether one feels comfortable with the representative and his skills. Mike provided that sense of surety, and he cut me every price break he could. Applewood's front office personnel are pleasant to work with and provide timely response to inquiries, as well as following up to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. I doubt that the office is able to check up on the demographic of a specific customer caller, but this senior citizen (who is somewhat handy and relatively savvy) felt well-matched with Mike C. who is closer to my age and whose long experience with customer service put me at ease from the beginning of his visit. Outstanding Customer Service, attention to detail and honest, respectful service. I scheduled a regular maintenance call as part of my Gold Customer benefits and learned that I had to have an entire motor replaced. Before doing anything my service technician, Chris, sat us down to tell us what was wrong, explain the options and then proceeded to wait at my house for two hours until the right part needed was delivered and then installed. He was friendly and confident in me knowing that with this replacement I would saving money in the long run monthly not to mention needing an emergency service call in the dead of winter! I recommend Applewood to all my friends and neighbors and will continue to have them as my go to for any plumbing/heating and AC needs. Wonderful customer service from start to finish!! We had both our furnace and gas fireplace go out in the same weekend. Called Applewood Monday morning and they had someone out to assess the situation within 24 hours (would have been sooner, but we weren't available). The technician, Brian, was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. While he didn't have the part on his truck to fix our furnace, he did make sure the fireplace was working so that he didn't leave us in the cold. Brian came back late one evening to fix the furnace and the job done in no time. Highly, highly recommend Applewood for any furnace / gas fireplace needs. Excellent customer service on the phone. The plumber was able to accommodate our schedule and come the same day. He was extremely professional, clean, and helpful. He provided his cell phone number when finished in case we had additional questions. About 20 minutes after he left we received a follow up call from Applewood to ensure things had gone as expected. The next day we ended up having to call the plumber to come back and he was able to come first thing that morning. He was efficient, polite and helpful. Applewood provides outstanding service! Last year we moved from Denver to Erie, and found out that the plumbing company we'd been using for years didn't service our area. Last February we had the first crisis in our home; the 5-year-old construction-grade water heater started leaking just an hour before the dinner guests were to arrive! This was on a Saturday afternoon, and after calling several plumbers in the area, Applewood was the only one that could come out right away and replace our water heater on short notice. Since it feels like fall is just around the corner, I thought the time was right to have my baseboard heaters serviced and to try to find the source of a banging noise. I don't think that any previous owners had ever serviced the heaters in the 12-year life of the condo before I bought it. Applewood is crystal clear and timely in terms of customer service - they email you a picture of your technician and call you to be sure you're there to meet him. Easy to set up a weekend appointment that worked with my schedule. I don't think that what I was asking Chris to do was difficult, but he did a great job and was upbeat and fast. Did I overpay? Applewood is ridiculously efficient! I called at 4 pm to see if a technician could come out and one was at our house by 6 pm! The A/C was diagnosed and fixed by 7 pm!!! Our technician, Greg Tibbets, was professional and knowledgeable. He communicated very well and explained the problem in full. Whenever I deal with Applewood, I know that the jobs is going to be done right, or they'll make things right. I asked for an appointment online, and received a call within a few minutes (competitors took days to return my online service request, if they ever responded). Applewood's customer service kept me in the loop as to when the technician would arrive, and offered to send me pictures and a bio of the tech so I'd be sure of who I was opening my door was really from them. When Bob showed up, he knew what he was talking about, unlike the two previous competitors my girlfriend called first. More importantly, Bob was willing to take the time to explain the situation to me in terms I could understand, without making me feel like he was talking down to me. When the problem he fixed turned out to not be the primary problem (though it would have been a problem in the future, and he did admit that he was worried the more expensive fix was needed at the time), Applewood sent Bob back out the next day, and credited the cost of the first visit to the more costly service. Any other plumber that I've worked with would have made me eat both costs. If this isn't enough, Applewood takes the time to check up on the service after the job's done, just to make sure that it was done right. To matters even better, scheduling someone to work on your problem is extremely easy, and Applewood works around your schedule. The fact that I normally get home at 6pm wasn't a problem: even the next day. The bigger job is decided upon on Friday: no problem, someone was available to install Saturday or Sunday, at whatever time & day I preferred. The prices Applewood quotes are a quite a bit higher than what I otherwise expect. I know from previous experiences with Applewood that they aren't who you call if you want to take a chance and get the cheapest service. I recently bought my home and have to admit I have no clue about home repairs. My dog is going crazy and would not stop barking... she had to wake me up and let me know our kitchen was flooding! It's 3:30 in the morning, what do I do? I call up my dearest friend in a panic, walking around the house trying to figure out where this water is coming from and the fear that I have to go in the crawl space to find the main water supply to the house was stressful enough. Now, I had to figure out who to call to fix this... Not knowing a lot of "handymen" especially at 3:30 in the morning, I found a business card on the main pipe and I called the number. Of course it's after hours and I have to leave a message. I thought great, no one is going to call me back or it will be sometime later in the day and I will be stressed out all day from this. I cleaned up all the water the best I could and decided to go back to bed since the main water supply is turned off, nothing more I can do right now. A little after 6 am my phone rings, it's Applewood Plumbing returning my message. I was so thankful that someone called me back so quickly after they opened and was able to get someone out here by 8am! The person on the phone was so nice and put my mind to ease. She told me everything I needed to know, sent me an email with the information of who was coming out to my home, a little history of him, a picture of him, years of experience, and the list goes on. I was so impressed by the service I received over the phone, the emails, the phone calls, and all the follow through this company does. I work for a company that is known for their customer service, this is what I do for a living and to be blown away by the service I received today was unbelievable. Jaime R. the plumber who came out to my home is one of the nicest people I have ever met! He went over everything with me, told me what the problem was and what he would need to do to fix it. He opened up this book that had all the charges for all the services they do and told me what my cost would be up front. I couldn't believe. All I could think about is great some guy is going to come to my house tell me I need all this work done and I'm going to have to spend a lot of money for nothing because so many people are taken advantage of especially when they are most vulnerable. I was so happy to know Jamie wasn't one of these people. I actually saved money because he told me all about their Gold Club membership and not once did I feel pressured about any of my decisions. I will recommend this company to all my friends and family and will continue to use their services as long as Jaime is working for them and is the one that can come out to fix my repairs. The float on my 60 year-old toilet (with no shut-off valve) decided to go out at midnight when I had guests with a 3 month old baby. We had another company come out to do our yearly A/C service. They ended up inaccurately determining that my system had lost almost half of its refrigerant ($300). After adding that refrigerant, our system began rapidly toggling the compressor on and off due to tripping of the pressure sensor. We asked them to come out the next day and they couldn't tell what was wrong ($100). Finally, I called Applewood on Sunday because they offer 24/7 service calls. The repair tech (Marty) was able to diagnose the problem within 5 minutes and our whole system was working flawlessly within a half hour. When my kitchen sink wouldn't drain recently, I called Applewood and they were there in a few hours. The technician, John, was excellent. He wore booties to keep my floor clean and was very knowledgeable. He explained the procedure and the fee up front and took time to look at my other sinks in the house after a leak was discovered under the kitchen sink. He was courteous and professional. I have a 7 year old Goodman gas furnace in my 1925 year old bungalow in the Park Hill neighborhood and for the past week or so it has been inconsistent in its heating ability. Coming on, going off, blowing cold air, and generally reminding me of living in Minnesota growing up. I spent most of the day yesterday researching furnace problems on youtube and google and finally decided to call for help. Found Applewood on yelp and the good reviews convinced me to call. The entire experience was amazing! The gal on the phone who set it all up for the technician to come to my house was smart, quick and asked great questions. She had someone here within 75 minutes! (I had to clean up the house quick!) She sent his bio and photo too. (I liked that touch.) When the technician arrived he was super professional and clearly he knew what he was doing. He also listened carefully to my description of what had been going on with the furnace and he asked good questions to illicit more diagnostic information from me. He had no problem with me asking tons more questions and I stayed with him and he talked me through step by step what he was doing and why he was doing it. Turned out it was the flame sensor, which I had not had cleaned (they do this by gently scraping sand paper over it) in well over a year. He suggested I plan to have the furnace serviced next fall and then every fall from now on (very good idea!) The furnace is now working perfectly and the whole visit cost me just $69. The technician mentioned that the furnace looked in very good condition and he thought it would last a good long time more! He didn't try to upsell me anything and he was never in a hurry, though he kept things moving and I'm guessing he's one of the best on the Applewood team!!! -Mari R., Denver

Well... As a fairly new owner of a 102 year old house in West Wash Park, I was hoping it wouldn't happen but it did!! Over the years I've had issues with running and/or clogging toilets so I've tried a number of different repair people. I never called any of them a second time. Last month I finally got smart and used my "Done Right Directory" to find a plumber to fix my running toilets. The initial phone call to make an appointment was great. Of course due to the nature of the business they had to give a window of time for the appt. But it was only a 2 hour window. An hour before they called to let me know he was stuck on something and they would keep me informed of his status. Then they called to say he was on his way and it was still well before the window they initially told me. But this is the best part - They Offered To Email His Picture So I'd Know He Was The Right Person To Let In !!! I told them yes because I've never heard of that before and thought it would be very cool. He did a wonderful job and asked if I needed other things looked at - and this wasn't to make money because he made a quick adjustment in my bathroom sink for no charge. Applewood was on-time to the scheduled appointment and Greg and Bryan did a wonderful job servicing our unit to ensure that everything was working properly. Additionally, the Applewood guys took care of a register that was not blowing air. After a few minutes of research it was determined that the air duct extender had disconnected from the main supply. As such, they put a pipe extension on and the issue was resolved. Now our guest bedroom has heat again! Once at the house, he got right to work and completed it for the price quoted. "Last month I had a water leak at the fill spigot of the bath tub. I called another plumbing company and they came out and told me what I already knew, that I would have to tear out a bunch of tile to fix the problem. In short, Lance tried three different ways to fix the problem and by never giving up Lance fixed it on the third solution. We have had two service calls, one with freezing over ac coil last spring, the other humidifier selinoid that went out this week and had to be replaced. Last year, Jaime, an Applewood master plumber came to our home on a service call to inspect our sump pump and check our sewer line for tree roots. We had no reason to believe there was a problem with the line, but when Jaime reviewed the line on his camera, he noted there was a backlog of water. After further inspection, he noted the line had sagged at the end of our lot and the water had pooled in this location. Based on his experience, Mr. Rodriguez indicated the entire line would need replacement and gave us a written estimate for the service. Because of the magnitude of the expense, we decided to seek a second opinion and called another plumbing firm to inspect the line. After spending $500 on camera inspections and a recommended "flushing" of the lines, the second plumbing firm agreed that replacement of the line was necessary. The other company gave us a quote for replacement but would only offer a one-year guarantee. Applewood was willing to offer a lifetime guarantee, so that clinched the deal for us. The job was arranged and completed within a few days of our call to Jaime. The work was done professionally and with care to minimize the impact to the landscaping in our front yard. Every person I dealt with was respectful and courteous. Jaime called me at work in the afternoon to report that the replacement had been successfully accomplished. The workers were at our house until nightfall completing the job. We are very impressed with Applewood Plumbing and would highly recommend their service to anyone seeking plumbing services. We needed a repair on our air conditioner on a late Friday afternoon. The tech came within 1hr of our call. He was missing a piece of equipment, but put in a new motor saying he was 99% sure that was the problem, but if not we would be refunded our payment. Late on Saturday we noticed that the same thing was happening with the AC so we called and Marty came out. He stayed about and hour but needed to come back on Sunday. He came back, fixed the AC and refunded our payment from Friday. No hassle at all. All the techs were very polite and friendly, really good service. I had a clogged sewer. I called Applewood as I have used them over the years and they promptly sent out a technician. He was able to clear the line. Two days later another technician came out to run a camera through the line to review the sewer pipe - once the camera was ready the technician and I reviewed and saw damage to the pipe It was determined that I needed a new pipe from the house to the street. The work was scheduled 2 days later. Applewood dug up the old pipe and laid new pipe within 1 day. The workers were very professional and timely - they finished the project prior to the time that was quoted to me. This past weekend we had a emergency situation in our home. Due to bad piping, my father's basement apartment flooded. Our landlords contacted your company to come out and resolve the messy situation (that's putting it lightly). Two of your gentleman - Chris Paillette and Chad Matelski arrived Sunday to tackle what we believed to be a HUGE and very difficult task ahead. 7/13/10: "way beyond my expectations..."

We have used Applewood 2 times in the last 4 weeks. Both times have been way beyond my expectations. The first time was to help finish a job me and my father in law couldn't do ourselves. The company plumber came while I was at work and they sent my wife a picture of the plumber coming to the house so she would know who he was in advance. That made me feel very safe and secure with my wife and 8 month old baby at home. He finished the job in less than 20 minutes, then he fixed our toilet and that wasn't even why he was there... he did it for no charge! ( I don't remember the plumbers name from the first visit)... Our second experience was yesterday and today. Our heating element went out on our hot water heater and a plumber from Applewood showed up by the name of Greg Schieffer. He did the estimate, explained everything to me very clearly and gave us a few options. He didn't seem to be bothered by our 3 dogs, or my daughter trying to climb up the chair to see him. He actually gave my daughter a coloring book. Super nice guy. He was going to return that same evening and do the job but had to work late at another location, so I was his first stop this morning. He actually apologized for not being able to make it back last night. Who does that anymore? I was blown away. He was finished within 30 minutes. I will continue to be a loyal Applewood customer for any of the services that they offer. I became a gold club member and I'm sure we will use it a lot. I have a rental that I am making ready for new tenants. Upkeep on my rental house is very important to me. 7/8/10: "We don't pay for any overtime or weekend charges..."

We have been using Applewood Plumbing Heating and Electric for many years (previously as APH.) They have always had someone available who was extremely knowledgeable and were extremely courteous. Whether it was plumbing service or HVAC the problems were always resolved. Although they may not be the cheapest in town, ultimately the job seems to take far more than we would have estimated and to have had to pay an hourly rate would have ended up to cost more in the long run. We don't pay for any overtime or weekend charges which fit into our schedules very well. We have had the same plumber come over for different reasons and he has always been great and the most recent HVAC guy (he told us he was new to Applewood) did a great job for us as well and showed us a few things we could do to obtain maximum cooling in the upper level of our house. 7/7/10: "they just keep getting better..."

We have used Applewood plumbers, HVAC technicians and electricians for several years now and they just keep getting better. Our most recent call was for a leaking toilet. I wanted to fix this one myself but after carefully looking it over I could see it really required the services of a plumber... someone with expert training! The toilet was old (1950's) and the tank and drain seals were deteriorated badly. Applewood immediately scheduled a plumber to come out on a Saturday. They emailed me the photo and credentials of Chad M. He was very prompt, wore booties and protected the floor and walls with paper drapes carefully as he worked. He first checked our water pressure and hot water heater as a safety measure. Then he asked if we wanted to repair or replace our faulty old toilet. At first I wanted to keep the old porcelain beast. But once the toilet tank was removed it was obvious there was no way that we would feel comfortable putting back together this old antique water guzzler. So Chad gave us the estimate for a replacement with guarantee and he also repaired a leaky faucet as part of his service. Now we have a sparkling lovely new toilet that flushes fantastically (and it's a water-saver!) Each time that we have called Applewood we've gotten courteous and professional service. Our journeyman plumber Chad was very neatly dressed in a clean uniform, explained everything clearly and knowledgeably beforehand, giving us written estimates and was able to quickly solve our problems several hours before our company arrived! 7/3/10: "I was very impressed..."

On Friday, June 25th, I called Applewood because I had discovered some significant water at the base of my heating and ac system. They responded by sending out a young man, Marty, who did a thorough job of diagnosis of what the problem could be and what was necessary to fix it. Because it required a new coil and pan set, he ordered one on the phone and said he would be back the next day to install it. The next day when he removed the old unit, his diagnosis was correct as a hole had rusted through the water collection pan which allowed the water to go directly to the floor. He was very professional and knowledgeable in answering all my questions, accomplishing the installation of the new unit, and checking out the whole system to assure that all was well. I was very impressed by him and by his work knowledge and ethic, and might I say, also with the young ladies from the office who kept me informed relative to when he was scheduled to be at my house and when he would get there. Everything about my experience with Applewood was great. They got me on their schedule for the next day. They called and were able to come to my home earlier than what was scheduled. The repairman was very knowledgeable and tried the simple fixes first but it ended up being the motor on the condenser. What was really great was he had the parts in his truck so there was no waiting for parts to arrive. He was very courteous and explained everything that he was doing. We have had Applewood Plumbing come out several times. They came out to fix and replace some of our faucets. But recently our sewer backed up in the basement. I was very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy I received from the office. Before technician Adolf G. came out at the top of the scheduled time slot, the office called to let us know he was on his way and offered to email his picture and credentials. Adolf was so friendly, courteous, respectful, professional and knowledgeable. He wore shoe covers every time he entered the house and removed them when going out. The curiosity of my dog while he was working never bothered him. He explained everything to us and after snaking the sewer line, scheduled for a camera line the next day at no charge. The next day Adolf and Jaime returned with the same courtesy, professionalism and friendliness explaining everything that we saw on the camera and our options to fix the sewer line. This is the first time I have used Applewood Plumbing Heating and Electric and from the first call answered by Julie through the final check up call after the work was done, I could not have been more pleased. I have an old AC/Heater unit in my condo that went out so I called Applewood and a technician was able to show up the same day. Julie gave me a choice of time and I asked if they would call ahead 45 minutes so I could get home from work and they not only called when they said, Dan the technician was right on time. He diagnosed the issue and I could hardly believe he had the right parts on his truck....that has never happened when I have had this unit repaired before. We had our roof replaced and, in that process, our attic fan was damaged and replaced with a solar powered one. It never worked and the Roofing Contractor sent Mike Taglialavore from Applewood Plumbing & Heating. He asked a few questions and understood my concerns. While fixing the attic fan, he discovered a potentially dangerous situation. The wire from the damaged fan was hanging from the roof, still live!! Quickly got an appointment the next day at noon. The next morning I got a call asking if I wanted an earlier appointment time, WOW and they even sent me the Tech's Bio and photo by email (very cool & classy). A very experienced Chris arrived 90 minutes earlier than scheduled. Extremely pleasant and polite, got right to work and found the broken wire... We had A/C in no time.
