10 Household Hacks to Keep Your Home Clean

Pick Up Pet Hair
There’s only so much hair your vacuum lifts away. Want to know how to get pet hair off furniture? Try rubbing a rubber gloved hand over sofas and furniture. The hair will stick to your glove, not your furniture.
Deep Clean Your Microwave
Every now and then, freshen your microwave with lemon. Rub lemon wedges over the interior of your microwave, wait a few minutes and wipe away. The acidity cuts through stains and leaves your old microwave feeling new again.
Remove Water Rings on Tables
If the kids (or anyone) left water rings on your wooden tables, simply run a hair dryer over the surface and the stains will be gone within 15 minutes. Apply wood oil to moisturize and preserve your wooden furniture.
How to Clean Glass Cook Tops
Spray a one-to-one mixture of water and vinegar on the surface and wipe with a towel. Those stovetop splatters and drips will wipe away.

No one wants to clean the oven but here’s a way to reduce your pain. Make a solution of equal parts baking soda and vinegar. Apply to the inside of your oven and let it foam several minutes. Wipe away and, voila, no more burnt smell when the kids heat up their pizza!

If you have a microfiber couch and want those stains gone, spray rubbing alcohol on them. Scrub gently with a brush until the stain vanishes and you can sit without distraction again!
