Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric awards the July $1,000 Caring Community Giveaway to Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado.
For over 30 years, Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC) has been supporting individuals with brain injuries, their family members, and professionals. BIAC’s vision is that all persons with an injury to the brain thrive in their community.
“Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado is well-deserving of the award because of their efforts in providing assistance to those with brain injuries,” said John Ward, president of Applewood.
BIAC supports individuals with brain injuries by providing case management services, support groups, educational materials, recreational programs, utility assistance, music therapy, and more. Their services are free to anyone with a brain injury living in Colorado. There are no income or insurance eligibility criteria to participate.
“With the help of Applewood’s $1,000 Caring Community Giveaway, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of survivors,” said Gavin Attwood, Chief Executive Officer of Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado.
