“Eye-Spy the Applewood Train” Contest has Extended into the Winter Season

Due to the overwhelming success of the Eye-Spy the Applewood Train Contest in the West Denver area, Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric is extending the contest to the end of December as part of their 40th anniversary year. Hundreds of people have spotted the orange train gliding down the RTD West Rail Line and have entered to win a 10-ride ticket book.

“We are excited to see such an outstanding response to the Eye-Spy contest,” said John Ward, Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric president. “The new addition of the West Rail Line has been great for the Denver metro community and we’re proud to be part of it.”

These pocket-sized books contain 10 tickets valid for one-way bus or light rail service. The  10-ride ticket books are perfect for the busy commuter, student, or passenger. The West Rail Line extends from Denver Union Station to Jefferson County, through Denver, Lakewood and Golden, and consists of 11 new stations.

When passengers spy the Applewood train, they can visit the Applewood website (www.ApplewoodFixIt.com), to enter to win free RTD passes. Participants are encouraged to post a picture of the train or while riding it as a passenger – or even to just let Applewood know where you saw their themed train around town.
